Why is it that when you need to study just about ANYTHING is more interesting than what you are doing. Even things you wouldn't normally want to do as a past time...
With the exams less than a day away, I take out my books to study and instead manage to:
Do my eyebrows
Do some practice sketches
Read half a book
Bake a pie
Do my nails
Worry about how much I have to study
Check my application statuses
Read everyones blogs
Facebook
Fiddle with my table lamp
Experiment with the hair straighener
Worry about how much I have to study
Get on the phone for over an hour
Stare at the wall behind my table - Theres a faint pencil line there, I dont think I can erase it becuase the eraser will smudge...
Find myself a new toothbrush
Download music
Organise CDs and Video cassettes
Practice signature
Worry about how much I have left to study
Yep and before I knew it 8 hours had gone by...
And now its a new morning and what do I do?
Write this entry and read some more book.
sigh...
This is going to be frustrating.

That's what happens to me when I study 'beforehand'. Instead, I wait for the deadly two week buffer zone right up to the exams.
Then each day goes something like this.
Wake up at noon
Spend hour washing up, eating breakfast
TV, Laptop
Study for a bit
Lunch
Laptop
Study for hours straight
Mind warp, grease face
Laptop
Study for hours straight
Laptop
Tea, biscuit, TV
Study for hours straight
Dinner
Laptop
Bed (around about 1 or 2)
Laptop always includes msn, youtubing, limewiring, and when I'm not using it - BitLord.
I use BitComet...
At least you get in the hours straight, I get like 30 mins then stop for an hour then 15 minutes and stop for 10 and so on till I very doubtingly make my way through the stuff.
You eat and wash slowww... :S
After this little life sucking week is over you must put my Cbox back.
I miss it :(
Dilini... looks like you're set for a uni schedule. Welcome to my world.. hehehe. Except...i'm up till whenver the reading material ends. Sometimes 6 am. Sometimes 3. Mind you, there are classes to attend too heehee.
Reema, sweetheart...b.r.e.a.t.h.e LIttle chunks work too. Everyone has their own way of coping with all the study material. If you absorb in ten minute chunks.. DO IT. Take it easy, dont slack it off. and a big fat huggy for you!
Good luck guys.
hmm...i'm on lunch break and feel like writing an average uni day... mind you, every single day is different. literally. A good day goes like this :

Revise class lecture notes
Early Lunch

Chit chat in bus home

Study/Assignments/Tests
Work out
Cook/clean/shower
Milk and cookies
Study/email
30 minute series [law and order, family guy.. anything]
Last minute portal check
Sleeeeeep at 2.
A bad day...
Wake up at 6
Breakfast/shower/chores
Bus before 8
Classes till 12
Hour lunch break
Class from 1-4

Late lunch/dinner

Work out while watching something [bad idea]
Shower
Last minute homework
Sleep at 2 or 3.
Worst days
Midterms. Exams. Assignments :p
But its still less taxing than AS LEVEL.
LESS taxing?
Really?
I went today and spent the whole day at Julia's to study.
We got SO much done.
I couldnt have done this much on my own in one day. Never.
Group study is the BEST!
I'm so proud of us.
:D
